Swastic Iron Craft

Our workshop, Swastic Iron Craft, is situated at G-110 in the Mansarovar Industrial Area. It’s a place where there is always the sound of metal hitting metal and the smell of welding. We aren't in a shiny showroom; it’s a proper industrial shed where the floor is usually covered in iron filings and scrap pieces. We spend our days cutting, bending, and joining iron to make various items. It’s hard work and it gets very hot, especially during the summer months when the sun beats down on the metal roof. I usually have a couple of guys helping me with the heavier pieces. We don't really have a sales team. People usually just come by the workshop because they saw something we made for a neighbor or heard about us in the industrial area. My desk is tucked in a corner under a dim light, where I try to keep track of the orders and the costs of raw materials. Sometimes we get complicated designs that take a lot of trial and error to get right. It’s a messy business, but we enjoy the process of making things from scratch. We’ve been at this G-110 spot for a while now. It’s just a practical, hardworking shop where we focus on the craft and getting the orders out to the people who need them. We don't have much time for fancy talk, just the actual work of ironmongery and the grit that comes with it.
