Our office, Surendra K Goyal & Co, is up on the 3rd floor of Makhija Chamber. This is right on M I Road, which is one of the busiest streets you can find. We are situated directly opposite the Raymonds showroom, which is usually the landmark people use to find us. Being on the third floor means we are a bit removed from the constant honking on the street, but you can still feel the energy of the market. There is an elevator, but it is small, so many people just walk up the stairs. The office itself is full of light because we are higher up. We have several rooms filled with cabinets for all the paperwork we handle. M I Road is great for getting things done, but finding a parking spot is a nightmare most days. We usually tell people to park further away and walk. The atmosphere in Makhija Chamber is very business-like, with lots of other firms and shops in the same building. We have been here quite a while and have seen many businesses come and go. Our space stays the same, with the same old desks and the same view of the city rooftops. We spend our days mostly quietly, working through the tasks at hand. It is a very central location, and that makes things easier for everyone involved, despite the noise and the crowds.
