We’re based in the Navjeevan Complex on Station Road. It’s a very busy part of town because of the railway station being so close. There are always people moving about outside, and you can hear the whistles and the general commotion. Our office is in B 550. It’s a decent space, though it gets a bit crowded when we have a lot of files to go through. We’ve got shelves lining the walls filled with all sorts of documents. It’s not the quietest spot in the world, you can hear the horns from the street even when the windows are shut. We don't mind it much anymore. It’s just the background noise of our day. We start around ten and usually finish up whenever the work is done. Some days are longer than others. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep going. The complex has a lot of other businesses too, so we know a few of the neighbors. We don't have any fancy signs or big logos, just our name on the door so people know they’re in the right place. It feels like a real community here. We just focus on getting through the tasks on our desks. It’s a lot of reading and typing, nothing too exciting, but it’s what we do. We try to be helpful when people come in, even if we are knee-deep in paperwork. It's just how we run things here on a daily basis.
