Surbhi Hair Dresser

Surbhi Hair Dresser is located on Tonk Road, quite close to the Pratap Narayan Hospital in Pratap Nagar. Being near a hospital means we see a lot of people coming and going at all hours. Our shop is just a simple room with the basic equipment you need for hair work. We have been here for a while and the locals know us pretty well. I usually open up the shutters around nine in the morning. The smell of the shop is mostly talcum powder and whatever cream we are using that day. It is a familiar smell that I don't even notice anymore. We don't really do anything fancy; we just give people the haircut they ask for and let them get on with their day. The traffic on Tonk Road is always moving, and sometimes the dust settles on everything if we leave the door open too long. We have a couple of benches for people to wait on, and usually there is a newspaper lying around for them to read. It is a quiet kind of life inside the shop even though the world outside is so loud. We just do our best with every customer that sits in the chair and hope they are satisfied when they leave.
