Suraj Hair Salon

Suraj Hair Salon is located right by the Main Bus Stand in Sanganer. Being near the Sabji Mandi means it is always noisy and full of life around us. We get a lot of people who are just passing through the bus stand or those who have finished their shopping at the market. The shop is small and can get a bit dusty from the road, but we sweep it out many times a day. We have been here in Jaipur for quite a while, serving the local workers and travelers. It is a very basic place with just the essentials for a haircut or a shave. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that works hard. People like that they can get a quick trim without having to make a big deal out of it. We see all kinds of people from different walks of life. The conversations are always interesting because of the location. We don't use any complicated equipment, just our hands and some good shears. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when the market is in full swing. If you are near the bus stand and need to tidy up, you will see our sign. We are just local people working a local job. We keep a jug of water for anyone who is thirsty. It’s not much, but it’s a living and we enjoy meeting everyone who stops by our little shop. It's just simple.
