Suraj Gents Parlour

We are tucked away on Shyopur Road in Sanganer, specifically in the Raghunath-1st area near Pratap Nagar. This part of Jaipur is always buzzing with people going to work or heading home. Suraj Gents Parlour has been here serving the local men for a long time now. It’s a straightforward kind of place where you come in, get your hair cut, and maybe talk for a bit about how the day is going. We have a few chairs and the mirrors show their age a little, but they work fine. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast on a Saturday, so we are always sweeping. People from Pratap Nagar know us well. It’s easy to find us if you’re walking down Shyopur Road. We don't have a website or any of that stuff, just the sign out front and the word of mouth from neighbors. Sometimes the kids come in for their first haircut and they’re all nervous, which is always something to see. We just try to make everyone feel okay and get them back to their day. The heat in Sanganer can be a lot in the summer, so the fan is always running high to keep the air moving. It's just a small business, nothing fancy at all. We like the routine of it.
