Sunny Hair Dresser

Sunny Hair Dresser is our small shop out in Bagru. Specifically, we are on Link Road in the Grah Chock Ka Mohalla neighborhood. If you know the area, it is easy to find us tucked in among the other local businesses. Bagru is a quiet place compared to the main Jaipur city, but Link Road stays active with people going to and from work. We spend our days here doing haircuts and keeping things simple. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but we keep the tools sharp and the water ready. Most of our customers are neighbors who have lived in Grah Chock for years. We hear all the local news while people sit in the chair. It’s a good way to pass the time. Sometimes the kids come in after school for a trim before their parents get home. We don't use any high-tech equipment, just the usual scissors and combs. The weather gets a bit dry out here, so we keep the doors open for a breeze when it isn’t too dusty. Working in Bagru feels different than the city because everyone knows everyone else. You can find us right there on the Link Road most days of the week. We close up when the sun goes down and the street gets quiet. It’s a steady job and we like being part of the community here. The shop is just a regular part of the street.
