Shiva Collection Jaipur

You can find us at Shop No. 38 on the ground floor of Sunny Arcade. Being on the ground floor helps because people can just walk in from the street without searching too much. Shiva Collection Jaipur is basically a small space filled with different items we’ve picked out. We spend our days tidying the shelves and talking to whoever comes through the door. Some days it is quite busy, especially on weekends when the arcade gets crowded. Other times, it’s just us sitting and waiting for the afternoon heat to pass. We try to keep things organized, but in a small shop, stuff tends to pile up in the corners. We’ve been in this arcade for a bit now and know the other shopkeepers around us. We usually grab tea from the stall nearby twice a day. It’s a basic retail life, really. We check the inventory, see what’s selling, and try to keep the displays looking okay. Jaipur gets very dusty, so cleaning the glass is a never-ending job for us. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us running the shop and making sure people find what they need. It’s a steady job and we like the routine of opening up every morning at the same time. The electricity in Sunny Arcade can be a bit patchy, but we have a small backup lamp for when it gets dark. We try to stay patient and just keep the doors open until the sun goes down late in the evening.
