Sunmoon Timber Plywood & Hardware

Our shop, Sunmoon Timber Plywood & Hardware, is located at No. 137 on the Gopal Pura Bye Pass Road. Being on the bypass means we deal with a lot of heavy traffic and big trucks passing by all the time. It’s a loud place to work, but it’s convenient for loading up timber and plywood. The shop always smells like cut wood and sawdust, which is something you either like or you don't. We have stacks of plywood leaning against the walls and bins full of hardware scattered around. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where the hinges and the nails are kept. We spend a lot of our day helping people carry heavy sheets of wood to their vehicles. The sun beats down on the road out front, so it gets pretty hot in the summer months. We don’t have a fancy showroom; it’s more like a warehouse where everything is out in the open. Sometimes we’re short-staffed and things take a bit longer, but we do what we can. We've been at this number 137 spot for a good while and have seen the bypass get busier every year. It’s hard work, and there’s always something that needs to be moved or sorted. We just keep our heads down and get the orders filled. It’s a plain, honest way to make a living, and it keeps us on our toes. Sometimes the dust gets to you, but you just wash up and come back the next day.
