Shree Chand & Sons

Our family business, Shree Chand & Sons, is situated at B-22 in Radha Govind Nagar, which is right near Dadi Ka Fatak in Murlipura. This neighborhood has changed a whole lot since we first set up shop here years ago. We have seen new houses being built and the traffic near the railway crossing get much busier, but we just keep doing our daily routine. The office is small and usually has papers and folders scattered around the desk, but we generally know where everything is kept. It is not the kind of place where you will find a receptionist or a fancy waiting area with magazines. You just walk in and talk to whoever is sitting there at the time, which is usually one of us. We deal with whatever work comes our way each day without any big plans or corporate meetings. Sometimes it gets really loud when the trains go by or when everyone shows up at the same time to pick up their orders. We do not really do any advertising or marketing because people in this part of Murlipura already know where to find us. It is a very simple way of working, really. We open up the shutters in the morning, have our first cup of tea, and start checking what needs to be delivered. We just want to finish the day's tasks and get back home to our families in the evening like everyone else.
