Gopalpura Mode is one of those places that never seems to stop. Being located right there on Tonk Road, Gautam Agencies is in the middle of all that movement. The traffic is something you just get used to after a week. We have buses and cars zooming past the front all the time. Our day-to-day is mostly about managing supplies and talking to the people who walk in. It is an agency, so there is always a bit of paperwork and a lot of phone calls. Tonk Road is a main artery, so we get people from all over the city coming through. We do not have much in the way of decoration. It is more about the shelves and the items we keep in stock. Sometimes the heat from the road is a bit much, but we keep the doors open anyway. I have seen the area around Gopalpura Mode change quite a bit over the years. Buildings going up and new shops opening. Gautam Agencies has just stayed right here through it all. We have our regulars who come in for what they need. We do not do much in the way of fancy talk. We just tell them what we have and how much it is. It is a simple way to run things. By the time evening rolls around, the streetlights come on and we start thinking about closing up for the night. It is just a regular job in a busy spot.
