Sunflower Senior Secondary School

Sunflower Senior Secondary School has been operating out of 7 Jai Kishan Colony for quite a long time now. We are right off Tonk Road in the Tonk Pathak area of Jaipur. It is a busy part of the city, and the sounds of the traffic are just something we have gotten used to over the years. Our building is not massive, but it has enough rooms for all the different grades. Every morning, the kids arrive from all around the neighborhood. Some walk and others come on scooters with their parents. We start the day early and keep things moving. The classrooms have the usual desks and blackboards. We don’t have fancy stuff like smart boards in every room, but the teachers know how to explain things well enough. The playground is a bit small, and it gets dusty when the wind blows, but the children don't seem to care when they are playing. Most of our staff live nearby, so they know the families in the colony. We see the kids grow up from little ones into young adults. Sometimes the walls look like they need a bit of paint, and we fix things as they break. It is a regular, local school where we focus on getting through the books and making sure the students are ready for their exams. There is no big marketing team here. It is just us doing our jobs every day in Jaipur.
