Suman Hair Dresar

This shop, Suman Hair Dresar, is right on the Jaipur Road in Dudu, near where it meets Faagi Road. It’s a good spot because everyone passes through here eventually. I’ve been running this place for a few years now. It’s just a simple room with a couple of mirrors on the wall and some stools for people waiting their turn. Dudu is a quiet town most of the time, but the crossroads can get noisy with all the buses. I try to keep the place clean, but with the wind blowing off the road, there is always a bit of sand on the floor. I mostly handle haircuts and shaves for the local men. Some of them have been coming to me since I first opened. We don't do anything complicated here. If someone wants a basic trim, I can do that. I learned how to cut hair by watching my father back in our village. He taught me to be quick but careful. The lighting isn't the best in the evenings, so I try to get the detailed work done while the sun is still up. People around here don't want anything fancy, just a reliable place to go. I enjoy the work because I get to hear all the local news before anyone else. It’s a decent way to make a living and stay connected to the people in this part of Jaipur. It keeps me busy enough.
