Subodh Public School

Our school sits on Bhawani Singh Marg, just off the busy Tonk Road in Jaipur. It’s a very central location, so it’s easy for everyone to get here, whether they’re taking the bus or coming by scooter. The school has been around for quite a while, and the building is a familiar sight for people in this part of Jaipur. It’s a big, functional space with plenty of rooms and corridors. Every morning is a bit of a scramble as the students arrive and the traffic on Tonk Road picks up. We have a lot of different classes going on at the same time. The teachers are usually quite busy running from one room to another. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We don’t have a lot of fancy trimmings. The focus is mainly on the lessons and making sure the students are prepared for their tests. The courtyard gets quite lively during the break times. We have the usual problems like old furniture needing repairs or the walls needing a fresh coat of paint. We just do those things when we can. Jaipur is a busy city, and our school feels like a small world of its own inside. We have families from all sorts of backgrounds sending their kids here. It’s just a place where work gets done and the days follow a steady rhythm. We try to keep it simple and focus on the basics.
