Step Ahead Public School

If you take the Ramgarh Road out toward Amer, you will find us there. It’s a beautiful part of Jaipur, with the hills nearby and a bit more breathing room than the city center. Step Ahead Public School sits in the 303101 area, and it has a very local, neighborhood feel. Many of our staff members live just a few streets away, so we really know the people who live around here. The school building is simple and sturdy. We don't have flashy signs or fancy lobbies. Instead, we have classrooms with big windows that let in the morning light. I usually start the day by checking the courtyard. It’s where everyone gathers before the first bell. Living near Amer means we get some of that historic atmosphere, but our daily life is very grounded in the present. We deal with regular problems like a bus running late or needing more lightbulbs for the back hallway. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s important. We see the same families year after year, and you start to feel like you’re part of their lives too. The walk to the school is nice, especially in the winter when the air is crisp. We just try to keep things moving forward, making sure the kids are doing their work and the place stays in good shape. It’s an honest way to spend the day.
