Marudar High Sacondary School

You will find us right near the Churu bus stand, specifically by the Chugi Naka in Ratangarh. It is a very busy part of town because of all the people coming and going from the buses. The school is a high secondary one, so we have a lot of teenagers here. The building is older and has that dusty look that most buildings in this part of Rajasthan get after a while. We do not have air conditioning, just ceiling fans that hum all day long. The classrooms have high ceilings and heavy wooden doors. It is a noisy place because of the traffic outside, but the kids and the teachers are used to it and just talk a bit louder. We do not have any fancy sports facilities, just a bit of open ground where the kids can run around. Most of the students come from the surrounding villages and towns nearby. The teachers here are very down-to-earth people who focus on the textbooks and making sure everyone passes their exams. We do not have a mission statement on the wall or anything corporate like that. We just open the gates in the morning and do our best to teach the kids until the afternoon. It is a humble place, but it has been serving this community for a long time now. Everyone in Ratangarh knows where we are located.
