Star Unique Handicraft

We set up Star Unique Handicraft at 84/323 in Pratap Nagar. Sanganer is a good place for this kind of work because there are so many makers nearby. Our space isn't anything fancy, just a solid building where we store our materials and finish the handicraft pieces. We usually have a lot of stuff piled up near the entrance when a new shipment comes in. It can get a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. The neighbors are mostly other small shops and families. We’ve been around here for some time now and most people know us by name. We don't spend much on decorating the front, we mostly just focus on the items we are making. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to dry things outside, so we have to move everything indoors quickly before it gets ruined. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes and checking the wood or fabric. My brother helps out most days and we have a couple of guys who come in to handle the heavier lifting. We aren't right in the middle of the city, so it’s a bit more relaxed than the main markets. People usually call before they come over to make sure we aren't out running errands. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. We don't need things to be complicated. Just doing the work is enough for us and our families.
