Star Hair Art Saloon

You can find Star Hair Art Saloon at Shop No -18 on the main Amer Road. We are quite close to Hotel Ram Vilas, so we get a lot of people who are just staying in Jaipur for a few days. The road is always loud with traffic heading towards the fort. Our shop is just a simple room with the tools we need to get the job done. I’ve been working here for years and the view out the front door never really changes much. We have a couple of mirrors that have seen better days, but they work fine for what we need. Most of the time, I’m here by myself or with one other person. We don't use any fancy marketing or big banners. People just see the sign and come in. We do hair cutting and shaves mostly. Sometimes someone wants something a bit different, and we do our best with what we know. The floor is concrete and we sweep it every hour or so. It gets dusty because of the main road, but we try to keep the chairs clean for the next person. In the evenings, the light from the street lamps comes in and we stay open until it's quite late. It's a steady life and we know most of the people who live in this part of Amer Road. We’re just a local business trying to do honest work every day without making a fuss.
