St Edmunds School

St Edmunds School is tucked away in Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur. The address is 302004, and if you know Jaipur, you know this area is pretty central. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of houses and shops nearby. The school has been part of this community for quite some time. You can see the wear and tear on the stairs, which just shows how many kids have walked up and down them over the years. We don't try to look like a modern glass building. We like the way it is. The mornings are full of the sound of whistles and teachers calling out. It’s a bit chaotic, but it’s a good kind of chaos. We spend a lot of time in the office dealing with parents and sorting out books. There’s always someone coming in to ask about something. We don't have a big corporate script to follow. We just talk to people like they’re our neighbors, because mostly they are. The weather in Jaipur can be tough, especially in the summer, so we’re always checking the fans. It’s just a normal school day, day in and day out. We focus on the basics and try to make sure the kids are actually learning something useful. It’s hard work, but we’re used to it. After the last bell, the streets of Jawahar Nagar get really crowded, and we all head out for the day.
