Vishwakarma Industrial Area is a tough place to work, but we’ve been here for quite some time now. It’s all warehouses and big factories around us. The name of the company is Srk Industries, and we are right in the heart of the VKI area. Every single day is filled with the sound of machines and the smell of metal or grease. It’s not really a place for someone who likes peace and quiet. We have our own rhythm here. The workers come in early, and we stay until the job is done for the night. There is always a lot of dust in the air and trucks moving in the narrow lanes outside. Our building is just like the others around it, very plain and functional. We don't have a fancy front office or even a reception area for visitors. If you come here, you’ll probably find us on the floor working on something. It’s a lot of physical labor and making sure the machines are running right. VKI is a big community of makers and builders, and we’re just one small part of that whole system. We don't do much talking; we just focus on getting the production through. It’s a gritty environment, but we wouldn't know what else to do with our time. Being in the industrial area means you have to be ready for anything to break or change at a moment’s notice. We just keep the wheels turning as best as we can.
