Sree Ram Hair Dresser

Sree Ram Hair Dresser has been on Sakhun Road for as long as I can remember. Naraina isn't a huge place, so most people around here know where we are without needing a map. It’s just a small shop where folks come to get their hair sorted out and relax for a bit. Sometimes the chairs are full and people have to wait on the wooden bench outside near the door. We don't mind the crowd, though. It makes the day go by faster. Usually, we're talking about local news or what's happening in the market down the street. The shop isn't fancy with big signs or bright lights. Just a couple of mirrors and the tools we need for cutting. I’ve lived in Jaipur all my life and this road is where I spend most of my hours. It gets dusty sometimes when the wind picks up, but that’s just part of being here in Naraina. My hands are always busy with the scissors or the comb. Some regulars come in every two weeks like clockwork. They don't even have to say what they want anymore. We just get to it. It’s nice having that kind of routine. My nephew helps me out in the afternoons after his school is done. He’s still learning but he’s getting better at the small stuff. We keep the floor swept and the water ready. It’s a simple life running a barber shop. Nothing too complicated, just cutting hair.
