Sonal Mehta

My name is Sonal Mehta and you can find me at 36 Bapu Nagar. It’s right on Bhawani Singh Marg, a busy stretch of road that always seems to have something going on. I’ve been working out of this building for a long time. It’s a sturdy old place with high ceilings and heavy wooden doors that creak when you open them. I don't have a big staff or a polished reception area. Usually, I’m the one who answers the door. The desk I use belonged to my father, so it’s got a bit of history to it. I like being in Bapu Nagar because everything is close by. If I need a snack or some stationery, I just walk down the street. The traffic can be a bit much during the rush hour, but I’ve learned to ignore the honking. I don't really do much in the way of advertising. Most people who come here heard about me from someone else in the neighborhood. It’s a practical way to run things. I keep my files in a metal cabinet that sticks a little when it's humid. There’s a small window that looks out onto a patch of dry grass. I tried growing plants there once but I forgot to water them. It’s a very normal, low-key setup. I just do my work and go home. No complicated mission statements or anything like that here.
