Sonakshi Creations

We are based at Plot No. 374, Street No. 10 in Barkat Nagar, over by Tonk Phathak. It is a residential-style area, so it feels quite local and friendly. Sonakshi Creations is really just a small workshop where we put together different outfits and designs. We don’t have a big sign out front or a storefront window to show off. It is more of a place where the actual work happens every day. Usually, there is the sound of sewing machines and people talking over tea. We’ve been in this street for a good number of years. Most of our customers are people from the neighborhood or friends of friends. We don’t really do any formal marketing or anything like that. We just show people the samples we have on hand. Sometimes we run out of space because the rolls of cloth take up so much room. It’s a bit of a squeeze, but we manage. My wife handles the stitching details and I look after the materials and the deliveries. We try to keep a steady pace every day. It is a humble setup, nothing too fancy. We just focus on making sure the clothes are put together right and look decent. If you are walking down Street 10, you’ll probably see our door open. We are usually there from morning until late evening. We don't have a big staff, just us and a couple of helpers who know the trade.
