We operate Solnki Handicrafts out of our place at 893 Shastri Nagar, specifically in the J P Colony area near Lankapuri. It is a busy little corner of the world, and our workshop is right in the middle of it. We have been making various handcrafted items here for several years now. The space is often cluttered with raw materials, tools, and half-finished pieces waiting for the final touch. It is a hands-on kind of environment where everyone is usually busy sanding, painting, or assembling something. We don't have a formal showroom or anything like that. If you come by, you see the work actually being done. There is always some noise from the street mixed with the sounds of our tools. It can be a bit messy, with scraps on the floor and paint on our hands, but that is how things get made. We take our time with each piece because that is just the way it has to be done. People from the colony often stop by to see what we are working on. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way because we can keep an eye on everything ourselves. We aren't trying to be a big factory; we just want to keep making things the way we know how. It’s a simple life, working with our hands every day in Shastri Nagar. We just keep at it, piece by piece, until the day is done.
