Smart Point Parlour

Our shop is located at Shop No -1509 on Baba Harish Chand Marg. This is right in the middle of Chandpole Bazar, which is one of the busiest parts of Jaipur 302001. There are always people walking past and scooters honking their horns outside. It’s a very old part of the city. The shop itself is quite small because space is hard to find in the bazar. I have been here for a long time, and I’ve seen the market change so much over the years. We do basic parlour work for the people who live and work in the market. I keep the chairs near the front so we can see the street. It gets very crowded inside when more than two people are waiting. We don't have much room for fancy stuff, so we just have the essentials like scissors, razors, and chairs. I have a small cupboard for my towels and another for the oils and soaps. Most of my regulars have been coming to me for ten years or more. We talk about the prices in the market or the weather. It is a very loud and energetic place to work. Sometimes I have to shout over the noise of the traffic to talk to my customers. I close up late in the evening when the market starts to quiet down and the street lights come on. It’s a small point in a big city, but it’s where I spend all my time. Just a simple shop.
