Sk Handicrafts

We are over at 887, Dariba Pan, which is part of Sk Handicrafts. If you know the area, you know it’s full of old buildings and narrow lanes. Our shop is quite small and the ceiling is a bit low. We’ve got shelves reaching all the way up, filled with various items we’ve gathered. It can be a bit of a squeeze when more than two people are inside at once. The street outside is always busy with people and carts moving back and forth. We don’t have fancy lighting or air conditioning. We just open the doors and let the air circulate. Most of our things are made by hand, so they aren't all exactly the same. You might find a small scratch here or a slight difference in color there, but that’s normal for what we sell. We spend a lot of time just organizing the stock because things tend to get buried. The counter is an old piece of furniture that’s seen better days. We’ve been in Dariba Pan for a long time and seen businesses come and go. We just keep doing what we do. It’s a simple way of living. We don’t spend money on ads or marketing. People find us by walking through the market or by word of mouth from someone who was here before. It’s just a traditional shop in an old part of town. We keep the doors open until late evening most days.
