Six Senses Handicrafts

Six Senses Handicrafts is at 220 Ashok Nagar. It is a place where things are always moving around. We have all sorts of handmade items tucked into different corners of the space. You walk in and you might see piles of wood or fabric waiting to be worked on. It is not a showroom that looks like a museum. It looks like a place where work actually happens. There is a specific smell of raw materials and old dust that stays in the air. We don't spend much time decorating the walls because we are too busy making things. People come in to see what we have been working on lately. Some days are slow and we just tidy up the shelves. Other days, it’s a bit of a mess with crates and packing tape everywhere. The neighborhood is fairly central so people find us easily enough. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Just the address on the door and the sound of tools being used inside. We grew up around this kind of work and it just feels normal to us. It’s hard work but it’s honest. We don’t try to act like we are bigger than we are. Just a small shop in Ashok Nagar doing what we can with our hands and some basic tools. We like being part of the local scene and keeping the craft alive.
