We run Naman Exports from G1-32 in SEZ-1 of the Sitapura Industrial Area. Working in a Special Economic Zone is a bit different because of the extra security and the rules we have to follow. Our unit is basically a combination of an office and a packing area. We deal with various items that get sent out to other countries. Most of our day involves checking lists, packing boxes, and making sure all the customs documents are in order. It is not a very exciting place to look at. There are boxes stacked up everywhere and tape dispensers on all the tables. We are a small team, so everyone chips in with whatever needs to be done, whether it is typing an email or lifting a heavy carton. We don't have a storefront because we don't sell to the public. The Sitapura area is usually full of dust and the sound of machines from the neighboring units. We have a small corner where we can sit and have a meal, but otherwise, we are on our feet most of the time. We don't use fancy language or have big meetings about our goals. We just focus on getting the shipments out on time so they don't miss the containers. Sometimes there are delays with the shipping lines, and we have to spend hours on the phone trying to fix things. It is just a normal export business and we do our best with it.
