Siraj Handicrafts

We've been here at Bhapaji Ka Rasta for a while now. Siraj Handicrafts is just our small place in the Bani Park area, specifically near Khetri House. If you know the Jaipur GPO area, we aren't too far from there. It gets busy on this street but that’s how it is. People come in looking for things made by hand. We keep various items on the shelves. Sometimes the shop is a bit dusty because of the road outside, but we try to keep things organized. It’s mostly just us working here every day. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It's just a regular shop where you can find traditional work. My family has lived around here for a long time. We know the neighbors. We mostly talk to people who walk in from the street. It’s a simple setup. Some days are slow, other days we have a lot of people asking questions about how things are made. We just tell them what we know. There’s no big secret to how we run things. We just show up and do the work. If you are around the Bhapaji Ka Rasta side of Bani Park, you might have seen our sign. It's not a huge place but we have enough space for what we do. We like being part of the local community here in Jaipur. It’s a good spot to be.
