Shyam Gents Parlour

Shyam Gents Parlour is right at Shop-1 on Ajmer Road in Sodala. We are very close to the New Sanganer Road Tiraha, which is a spot everyone knows. Being on a main road like Ajmer Road means it’s always loud with horns and bikes outside. But once you step inside, it’s just a normal barbershop. I’ve been running this shop for a long time. It’s a small space, but I’ve arranged it so there’s enough room for three chairs. We do basic haircuts, beard trims, and the occasional head massage. The mirrors have a few scratches on the edges, but they still work fine. I don't believe in spending money on fancy decorations when the work is what matters. Most of my customers are guys who work nearby or live in the Sodala blocks. They stop in after work or on their way to the market. We keep a stack of newspapers for people to read while they wait. It’s a simple life. I get to talk to all sorts of people every day. Some are in a hurry and some want to linger. I just go at the pace they need. Jaipur is changing fast, with all the flyovers and new buildings, but this little shop stays pretty much the same. It’s a reliable place. If you’re near the Tiraha and need a trim, you can just walk in. We’re usually here from morning until late evening.
