Shubham Plastics

Our place is out in VKIA at f-742. It’s an industrial area, so it’s mostly warehouses and factories around us. It’s quite a drive from the city center, but this is where all the making happens. We work with plastics here. The machines can be quite loud when they are running, so we have to shout a bit to hear each other. There’s always a smell of warm plastic in the air. We keep a lot of raw materials in the back. It’s a big space but it fills up fast. Most of the time we are busy with production runs. We don't have many walk-in customers because of the location. Usually, it's just trucks coming to pick up what we’ve made. The office is just a small corner with a couple of chairs and a desk that’s seen better days. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused. The sun really beats down on the roof during the summer, making it very hot inside. We have some big fans but they only do so much. It’s hard work, but we’ve been doing it for years. We know the machines well and how to fix them when they act up. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We just focus on getting the orders ready on time and keeping the floor clear so the workers can move.
