Shubham Creations

Shubham Creations is located at 32, Kalyan Colony, which is right opposite Gaurav Towers in Malviya Nagar. It’s a busy spot, especially with the mall right there, so there’s always a lot of movement outside our windows. Our workspace is where we do all our creative stuff, and it’s usually covered in bits of thread, fabric swatches, and paper patterns. It’s not a very tidy place, but we know exactly where the scissors are buried. We’ve got a couple of sewing machines that hum away in the background most of the afternoon. The light in the morning is quite good for picking out colors, so that's when we try to do the most important work. We’re a small group here, and we’ve been working in this colony for quite a few years now. We don’t really bother with big advertisements or anything like that. People usually find us by word of mouth or because they were visiting the towers and saw our sign. It’s a lot of hands-on work, and our fingers are usually a bit sore by the end of the week. We don't have a fancy showroom, just a few racks where we hang the latest things we've finished. It’s a simple life, focused on making things one at a time. We just enjoy the process of seeing something go from a sketch to a real item.
