Shriram Udyog

We are located at number 70 in Marudhar Nagar, just off the DCM Ajmer Road. It’s a busy stretch of road and the dust from the traffic always seems to find its way inside our shop. Shriram Udyog is a name we’ve had for a long time. It’s a small operation, mostly focused on the work we do on the floor. We have some old machines that make a lot of noise, but they still work just fine. Sometimes we have to fix them ourselves when they act up. The sun hits the front of the building in the afternoon and it gets really hot, so we usually keep the shutters halfway down to stay cool. We aren't a big corporation with departments and managers. It’s just a couple of us doing the work and one person handling the books. We get our supplies from the same people we’ve known for years. There’s a trust there that you don’t find in the bigger cities. Most of our day is spent filling orders and making sure the quality is okay. If it’s not right, we do it over. That’s just how we were taught. We don’t have a fancy lobby for visitors. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in our work clothes with grease on our hands. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till night. We like being in this part of town despite the noise.
