Shringarika is located at 62 Haldiyon Ka Rasta, which is right in the heart of Johari Bazar. If you know Jaipur, you know how crowded and narrow the lanes in Johari Bazar can get. Our shop has been here for a long time, and the building itself is quite old. You can see the old stonework if you look closely. It’s a small shop, mostly filled with things for women, like bangles and small accessories. We don’t have fancy display cases, just some old glass counters that have seen better days. The street outside is always full of people, cows, and scooters, so there’s a lot of noise all day long. We don't have air conditioning, so we just keep the door open and let the ceiling fans run. It gets pretty hot in the summer months, but we are used to it by now. My father started this place, and I’ve been here since I was a teenager. Not much has changed in thirty years. We still have the same old clock on the wall that runs a few minutes slow. We know everyone on Haldiyon Ka Rasta, from the tea seller to the man who sells fabrics next door. It’s a tight-knit community here. We don't have a big marketing strategy. We just open the shop, put out our wares, and talk to whoever walks in. It’s just an honest, local business in a very old part of the city.
