Shri Tanot Rai Handicrafts

At Shri Tanot Rai Handicrafts, we work out of A-46 in Ramgarh Mod. It’s part of Jagdish Colony. Our space is usually full of different items we've collected or made. It’s not a polished showroom like you see in the malls. It’s more of a workshop and storage area combined. You’ll see bits of wood, fabric, and tools laying around. We like the smell of the materials we work with. It feels like a real place where things are actually created. Jagdish Colony is a nice area, and we’ve been here long enough that the neighbors all know us. We don’t have a big sign or bright lights. Most of our day is spent handling the crafts and making sure they are ready. Sometimes we get visitors who want to see how things are done. We aren't used to giving formal tours, so we just let them look around while we work. It’s a humble setup. We don't have a corporate office or a board of directors. It’s just a family-run kind of place. We take pride in what we do, but we don’t talk about it in a boastful way. We just keep our heads down and keep the business going. If you come by, you’ll probably find us busy with something in our hands. There is always a lot of sawdust to sweep up at the end of the day before we lock up.
