You can find Shri Shyam Telecom right near the Arjun Nagar Phatak on Tonk Road, at shop number 28-AE. Being right next to the railway crossing means we hear the trains go by all day long, and the gates opening and closing is like a clock for us. It’s a small shop, but we pack a lot of things into it. We mostly deal with mobile recharges, new SIM cards, and those small repairs that people need in a hurry. A lot of people stop by while they’re waiting for the train tracks to clear. We keep a good stock of headphones, data cables, and chargers because those seem to break or get lost the most often. It’s a busy little spot and can get dusty with all the traffic on Tonk Road. We don’t have fancy air conditioning or a big glass front, just a counter and some stools for people to sit while they wait for their phone to update. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoons, so we usually have the blue screen down a bit to keep it cool inside. We’ve been here for a while now, and we’ve seen the road get wider and the traffic get much heavier over the years. It's just us here, making sure people can stay connected with their families. We don't do anything special, just daily work and trying to help out whoever walks in with a broken screen or a dead battery. It's a decent place to spend the day.
