Shri Ram Gents Parlour

Shri Ram Gents Parlour is right over by the Rajawas Bus Stand on Sikar Road. You can’t really miss it if you are waiting for the bus or coming from the RS Hospital across the way. It’s a busy spot because of the traffic and the people moving around the stand all day. Jaipur can be quite dusty, so men often stop in just to get a quick wash or a shave to feel human again. The shop isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. There’s a specific smell of shaving cream and maybe some old newspapers laying around for when there is a wait. I think most people like it here because it feels familiar. You don't have to explain too much about what you want. We know the usual styles that the guys in this part of town prefer. The Sikar Road area is always changing, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. Sometimes the hospital staff comes in after their shift, looking tired, and they just sit in the chair and close their eyes while we work. It’s quiet in that way, despite the noise of the buses outside. We just keep the scissors sharp and the water warm. It’s 302021, a good place to be. We don't do anything too complicated, just honest work for the people who live and work around the Rajawas area.
