Shri Ram Collection

Shri Ram Collection is situated at Ft 15 in Raisar Plaza. This is right in the Indira Bazar area. If you know the plaza, you know it’s mostly electronics and clothes. We handle a variety of items here. The shop is tucked away a bit, so you have to look for the number 15. It’s a small unit. We have shelves lining every wall to make the most of the space. It gets a bit cramped when more than three people are inside at once. We spend our days arranging the stock and talking to customers. Indira Bazar is always loud with horns and people shouting, but inside the plaza, it’s a little more contained. We’ve been here long enough that the security guards know us by name. We don't really do big sales or marketing stuff. We just put the items out and people buy what they need. Sometimes the stock arrives late and we have to stay late to sort it all out. It’s not a glamorous job but it pays the bills. My nephew helps me on the weekends when the plaza gets really crowded. We use a simple ledger for the accounts. Everything is pretty straightforward here. We just try to keep things moving and stay busy throughout the week. Sometimes we run out of space for new boxes, so we just stack them near the door. It's just how we do things.
