Shri Janot Rai Handicrafts

Shri Janot Rai Handicrafts is over at A-46 Ramgarh Mod. We are specifically located in Jagdish Colony along Mount Road. It’s an interesting area because you get a lot of different people passing through. Our workshop stays pretty busy with the sounds of tools and things being moved around. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s how a real handicraft place looks when people are actually working. We don't have a big showroom with air conditioning; it’s more about the actual labor that happens here. The sun hits the front of the shop in the morning, so we usually start early to get the best light. Living and working around Ramgarh Mod has its own rhythm. You get to know the other shopkeepers and the tea stall guys pretty well. Shri Janot Rai Handicrafts has been our home for a good while. We keep our materials stacked up in the corners and try to keep things moving. It’s hard work and your hands get dirty, but it feels good to finish something. If you’re looking for A-46, it’s right there in Jagdish Colony, not far from the main road. We don’t have a big fancy sign, just the work we do. It’s a plain, honest business. Most of the time, we’re just focused on the next thing we have to make. That’s just life for us and we just keep at it day after day.
