Shri Hari Om Moorti Bhandar

We are down in Chandpole Bazar, specifically at Khazanewalon Ka Rasta. It’s a narrow street but full of life. Shri Hari Om Moorti Bhandar has been making and selling statues here for a long time. If you reach the second crossing, you’ll find us easily enough. The shop is usually full of marble and stone dust because that’s the work we do. We carve these moortis right here or get them finished to size. It’s a traditional way of working that we’ve stuck with. People come in looking for something specific for their homes or temples. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s more of a workshop where you can see the tools lying around. Sometimes the floor is messy with stone chips. We just talk to the customers, show them what’s ready, and take orders for what they want next. It’s honest work with our hands. Jaipur is famous for this, and we’re just one small part of that tradition in this market. The street is always crowded with people walking and carts moving, so it can be a bit hectic. We just keep our heads down and keep working on the stones. It’s what we know how to do best. No big marketing here, just the sound of chisels and the smell of stone. Most of our customers have been coming to this street for generations to find what they need.
