We opened Shri Dev Communication And Stationers here on VKIA Road No 14 because there was a need for a place where someone could get a phone recharged and buy a decent notebook at the same time. It stays pretty busy with the industrial traffic around here. Most days start with dusting the glass counters because the road outside gets really dusty with all the trucks passing by. We keep a lot of basic stationery items like pens, registers, and folders because people from the nearby offices often run out of things mid-morning. It isn't a fancy place, just a small shop with shelves packed to the ceiling. Sometimes the internet for the recharge system acts up and we have to wait a bit, but that is just how it goes. We also do some basic mobile accessories, things like chargers and headphones that people lose or break often. It is mostly just one or two of us behind the counter. If you come by in the afternoon, it might be a bit quiet, but mornings are usually a rush of people looking for photocopies or a quick top-up for their talk time. We try to keep everything organized, though sometimes the boxes of paper pile up in the corner when a big shipment arrives. There is always something to do, whether it is fixing a display or counting out change for a school kid buying a single pencil. We have been in this spot for a while now.
