Shri Dayal Telecom

Our shop is over in Jhotwara, specifically at Shiv Colony on Khatipura Road. We are at number 20. It is a neighborhood where everyone seems to know everyone else. The road outside is always full of motorcycles and people walking to the local market. Shri Dayal Telecom has been at this same spot for years. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us behind the counter every day. The shop is quite simple, with shelves and some old displays that have been there since we opened. We spend our time helping out the people from the colony and the surrounding streets. It gets quite busy in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a bit of a mess, but we just keep the door open and wait for the next person. We don't really use any big marketing tactics. Most of our customers are just neighbors who have been coming to us for a long time. It is a very local way of doing things. You learn about people’s lives when they come in and chat for a bit. Jhotwara has changed a lot with more traffic and buildings, but Shiv Colony still feels like a tight community. We are just happy to be at number 20 on Khatipura Road, doing our regular work and seeing the same friendly faces day after day.
