Shreeji Handicrafts

Shreeji Handicrafts is based over at 1 Akhepura, Road No 1 in the Vki area. If you have ever been to Vki, you know it is mostly about work and industry. It is not the kind of place people go for a leisurely stroll. Road No 1 stays busy with trucks and workers all day long. Our spot at Akhepura is where we handle all our handicraft items. It is more of a workshop vibe than a shop. There is always the sound of tools or packing materials in the background. There is a small dhaba nearby where we usually grab lunch. Vki is not for everyone, but it is where the real production happens. We are just glad to have our space at Akhepura. We do not have a showroom with fancy lighting. We just have our space where the products are made and stored. It gets pretty dusty, and the heat in the summer can be tough, but we just get on with it. Most of our time is spent checking the quality of the pieces or getting things ready for transport. Being in Vki means we are around other people who are also working hard, which feels good. We have been at this location for some time now. It is a bit out of the way for some, but for the work we do, it is exactly where we need to be. It is a practical, no-frills environment. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to keep things moving.
