Shree Shyam Polymers

Shree Shyam Polymers is tucked away in Chandpole Bazar, specifically at Bagru Walon Ka Rasta, 4th Crossing, number 3129. It can be a little tricky to find if you aren't familiar with the twists and turns of this part of the city. We deal with all sorts of polymer products and plastic materials. It’s not the kind of shop where you find pretty things, but it’s the kind of place where you find what you need for a job. We have rolls of plastic, pipes, and various fittings piled up in the back. The space is narrow, like most shops in Chandpole, so we have to be careful how we stack everything. My father used to run a different business nearby, but we shifted to this about ten years ago. The bells from the nearby temples ring all day, and there is always the sound of rickshaws outside. We spend our time taking orders, cutting materials to size, and loading them onto bikes or carts. It’s physical work and your clothes get dirty pretty fast. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just answer the phone and talk to people who walk in. Most of our customers are tradesmen or people fixing up their shops. We drink a lot of tea and wait for the sun to go down so the heat in the alley lets up a bit. It’s a decent life here in the market, just working every day.
