Shree Shyam Hair Dresses

Our shop is over in Shahpura, on the Neem Ka Thana Road. It’s a bit of a distance from the main Jaipur city, but it's a busy town on its own. The road stays quite active with vehicles going towards the highway. We’ve been here for several years. It’s a plain shop with white tiles and a few chairs. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle the shears. Most of the people who come here are farmers or shopkeepers from around the area. They don't want anything too complicated. A simple cut or a clean shave is what they usually ask for. We have a big water jug in the corner because it gets very dry out here. The shop is a bit of a social hub in the afternoons. Men stop by just to sit and chat for a bit, even if they don't need a haircut. We don't mind. It's nice to have the company. We use the old manual razors for the shaves because that's what we are used to and what the customers prefer. Life in Shahpura moves a bit slower than the city, and our shop reflects that. We just take our time and try to do the job right. It’s a simple way to make a living and support our families.
