About Shree Bhagvati Handicraft – Art & Craft in Jaipur
I have been working out of 7 Chitrakoot Scheme for some time now. Specifically, we are over at Jalaram Apartment. It is a fairly standard residential spot, but it works for what we do with Shree Bhagvati Handicraft. Most days start early here. The neighbors are used to us by now. Sometimes the hallway gets a bit crowded when supplies come in, but everyone is patient. Living and working in the same general area has its ups and downs. You never really leave the office, but then again, the commute is just a few steps. The stairs can be a bit steep when you are carrying heavy boxes, but you get used to it. The apartment is quiet enough during the day. We spend most of our hours sorting through different handicraft items. It is mostly just us doing the work. People sometimes ask if we have a big showroom, but we do not. It is just this space in Jalaram Apartment. We keep things organized as best as we can. It is a bit tight, especially when we have a lot of stock sitting around, but we make it work. Chitrakoot is a decent area to be in, and being in a known apartment building helps people find us. It is not anything fancy or corporate, just a local spot where the work gets done every day. We keep a teapot in the corner for when we take breaks. We have grown attached to this little corner.
