We’ve been here in Shastri Nagar for a long time now. It’s a busy spot and we usually start our day pretty early before the sun gets too high. Most people know where to find us because we’ve had this same shop for years. It isn’t much to look at from the outside but it works for what we do. We handle a lot of different agro stuff every day. Sometimes it’s quiet and we just sit around talking about the rain or the crops, but other times it’s a total mess with bags everywhere. We don’t really do fancy ads or anything. People just walk in. The fan makes a bit of noise in the corner but we got used to it. My cousin helps out when things get busy during the season. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the paperwork piles up on the small desk in the back. Shastri Nagar has changed a lot since we first opened up. There are more shops now and the traffic is worse but we like it here. It’s our home. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and see who comes by. It’s a simple life and we aren’t looking to change much about how we run things. Just honest work and trying to get through the day like everyone else in the neighborhood.
