Shekhawati Hair & Beauty Saloon

Shekhawati Hair & Beauty Saloon is located at shop number 36 on Mahal Road. We are in Jagat Pura, very close to the 7 number bus stand. Because of the bus stand, there is always a lot of foot traffic around our door. People are always running to catch their bus or getting off and looking for a quick trim before going home. Our shop has a bit of space, enough for a few people to wait comfortably. We have some old magazines on the table, mostly about movies or local stuff. The mirrors have some spots on the edges where the silver is coming off, but we can still see fine. We don't mind it much. We do hair for both men and women, which keeps us pretty busy all through the day. The atmosphere is casual. We talk about the local sports or what is happening in Jaipur. We use regular products that you can find at any local store. It's not a luxury experience, just a honest service. Sometimes it gets hot inside when the sun hits the front window, but the fan helps a little. We have been at this location for a while now. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun. We are just people who know how to use scissors and we enjoy being in Jagat Pura. It is a steady job for us and we like the people who live here.
