Shear Studio An Unisex Saloon is located in Jaipur at Shop N-3, Plot N-1 on Chitrakoot Marg. This is in the Vaishali Nagar area, which is a busy part of the city. We are near Chniyaka Restaurant, so we often get people coming in after they have had a meal there. The shop is set up for both men and women to get their hair done. It is a simple layout with a row of chairs and mirrors on one side. We keep our supplies on some metal shelves in the back. The floor is made of stone, which stays cool even when it is hot outside in Jaipur. We don't have a lot of decorations, just the things we need to work with every day. Usually, we start the morning by checking our supply of shampoos and making sure the capes are clean. The street outside can be quite noisy with all the cars, but we keep the door closed most of the time. We have a small area where people can sit if there is a wait. It is a local business, and we know many of the families who live in the surrounding blocks. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that; it’s just the owners and a few staff members. We focus on doing a decent job so that people come back the next time they need a trim or some styling.
