This place in Mansarovar, over in Krishna Vihar, is where I spend most of my time. It’s a small space, number 50 on the street, and it’s usually pretty quiet except for the neighbors going about their business. I’ve lived and worked around here long enough that everyone knows the gate. Inside, there’s a desk piled with papers and a few chairs for whoever drops by. I handle a lot of different things throughout the day, mostly local stuff that needs attention. It’s not a big corporate office with fancy signs or anything like that. Just a regular room where work gets done. Sometimes people stop by just to ask for directions or to talk about things happening in the neighborhood. I try to keep things organized, but the folders have a way of multiplying on their own. The fan overhead clicks a bit when it's on high, which is almost always. The light through the front window is good in the morning. I usually start early before it gets too hot outside. There isn’t a whole team of people here, just me dealing with whatever comes across the desk. It’s a steady routine of phone calls and writing things down. People in Krishna Vihar know where to find me if they need something handled. It’s just a simple, local spot where the days go by pretty fast.
